  This flowchart presents the strategic planning project methodology, including the timeline, major project milestones, community needs assessment activities, and process participants.

• Appendix B—2023 Survey Results Report from the GPL Library and Endowment Boards

  This survey of the Library Board of Trustees and GPL Endowment Board of Trustees was conducted in December 2023.

• Appendix C—GPL Community Member Focus Groups Summary Report 2024

  This report summarizes the ideas and feedback received during two focus groups conducted with community members in January 2024.

• Appendix D—GPL Community Survey 2024 Results Summary

  The community survey was conducted from mid-January to mid-February 2024. The report presents respondents’ feedback and a summary of responses to each question.
  

• Appendix E—GPL Community Vision Statement Results Report 2024

  The Library’s Strategic Planning Advisory Committee (SPAC) brainstormed a series of vision statements reflecting the ideal Groton and prioritized the vision statements the Library can best support and positively impact. This report presents a prioritized list of the final community vision statements.

• Appendix F—GPL Grades 5-12 Survey Results Report 2023

  The youth survey was conducted from mid-November to mid-December 2023. The report presents respondents’ feedback and a summary of responses to each question.

• Appendix G—GPL Parents and Caregivers Focus Group Summary Report 2024

  This report summarizes the ideas and feedback received during a focus group conducted for parents and caregivers in January 2024.

• Appendix H—GPL SOAR Exercise Summary Results Report 2023

  This report documents the results of an environmental assessment of the Library’s Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results (SOAR). One SOAR exercise was conducted with Library Staff, and a second was conducted with Groton Public Library’s Board of Trustees and the GPL Endowment Trustees.

  This Strategic Planning Advisory Committee (SPAC) survey was conducted from mid-January to early February 2024.

  The community survey was conducted from mid-January to mid-February 2024. This report presents all the data collected.
