Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to download or stream ebooks, audiobooks, comics, movies, and music for free when you sign up for an account with your library card and download the software to your computer, or download the app to your digital device. The great thing about Hoopla is that everything you see is available right now! To search for teen specific items on the Hoopla app, use the drop down menu on the right that says “Genres”. For audiobooks, scroll down and use the Teen category. When the results appear, you can further limit your search categories such as Popular, new, and rating. For e-books the drop down menu for Genres will have Young Adult Fiction and Young Adult Non-Fiction selections, and when they are selected, they are further categorized by subject such as Biography or Fantasy, etc.
