Groton Public Library Summer Reading Challenge 2024
June 11-August 17, 2024 | PreK-5th grade
Support the World Wildlife Fund with YOUR READING! During week 10, enter a special raffle to decide which animals to symbolically adopt through the WWF. The winners will receive a special prize!
For 4th & 5th grade: MAKE-YOUR-OWN BUTTONS!
Earn AND MAKE up to 10 buttons and show them off on your lanyard!
1. Sign up! Receive a lanyard and a registration packet at the Library.
2. READ 1 hour a week and log your reading in the Beanstack App or stop by the Library.
3. Get BUTTONS! Come to the Children’s Room once a week to make 1 NEW button and 1 weekly raffle ticket.
During prize week 6, 4th & 5th graders have the option of gift cards to Dunkin (while supplies last)!
For kids ages 3 through grade 3: BRAG TAG BLAST!
Earn up to 10 BRAG TAGS and show them off on your necklace or bracelet!

2. READ 1 hour a week and log your reading in the Beanstack App or stop by the Library.
3. Get BRAG TAGS! Come to the Children’s Room once a week for 1 NEW TAG and 1 weekly raffle ticket.
For kids ages 18 months through 2 years: RUBBER DUCKY YOU’RE THE ONE!
Earn 10 DUCKY STICKERS and 3 RUBBER DUCKIES during prize week!

2. READ 1 hour a week and log your reading in the Beanstack App or stop by the Library.
3. Get STICKERS! Come to the Children’s Room once a week for NEW STICKERS and 1 weekly raffle ticket.

Option 1: Visit gpl.org and click the link for our Beanstack* page. Create your account and register your readers. Easily record your reading from your phone or computer!**
Option 2: Come to the Library and we will sign you up!
*Beanstack is our summer reading software. It’s available as a downloadable app, OR go online to grotonpubliclibrary.beanstack.org.
**Recording reading from home is optional.

“Read, Renew, Repeat” Letterboxing Challenge. Weeks 2, 5, & 9. Follow the clues to find the letterbox and stamp your sheet. Receive an extra weekly raffle ticket for each challenge. Collect all three and receive a Johnson’s ice cream coupon.
