The Groton Public Library welcomes and appreciates teen volunteers and the work they do for the library and ultimately the community. Volunteers help with a variety of short and long term projects through the Young Adult Advisory Council.

The council meets once a month (usually on the last Wednesday of the month in Sibley Hall from 6-7pm, with an option to join by Zoom). The council assists the Young Adult Librarian in planning programs, events, services and more. Other volunteer opportunities may include shelving books in the YA area and assisting with programs and publicity.

Interested? You can fill out and submit a Volunteer Application Form.
