Please read entrance restrictions and required protocols below, then click the orange button to schedule your appointment. (If no one is waiting, you may stay as long as you like, and yes, public rest rooms are available.)


Services Available: Computer and Equipment (printers, copier, laptop, scan/fax), Newspapers and Magazines, Tables and Carrels for Work or Study, Reference Librarian Assistance, or browsing a group of items staff can retrieve for you from our stacks (which you can check out).

Continuing Services Available via Phone, Email, Curbside Pickup, Groton Delivery, or Children's Summer Reading Program Window (come visit us through the garden).

Curbside Pickup & Groton Delivery

• If it’s on our shelves, it’s available to you!

If you know what you'd like, simply login to our catalog and place a hold.

• When your items are ready, we'll send a notice by the method you indicated (email, text, or phone). You will have 10 days to pick them up via Curbside Pickup.

CURBSIDE PICKUP HOURS: 10 am - 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

• Please pull into a parking space, call 978-448-1167, and wait for a staff member to retrieve your holds and check them out to you. (To shorten the wait, call ahead of your arrival and we will have them ready for you!)

• Please continue to return library materials in one of our 4 exterior book drops.

If you need help placing holds, arranging home delivery in Groton, or would prefer to have a staff member assist you:

• If you need a library card, complete this online application form.


Safety: there is no direct contact and staff are wearing gloves and masks at all times when handling materials for the public. Additionally, all stacks and collections will continue to be STAFF ONLY after we reopen on Tuesday, July 7, to keep our materials safe for all. Items are quarantined for one week after they are returned before they are checked in and made available for the next person.
