“Read Like a Machine” Teen Winter Reading Challenge

Record the time spent reading on the Beanstack app to Earn Prizes!
Teens in Grades 6-12 may READ ANYTHING and log the minutes they read from January 1 to February 28 on the Beanstack App to earn badges and prizes!
Read 360 minutes – Receive a $5 Dunkin' Donuts Gift Card
Read 720 minutes – Receive a free book from a selection
Read 1,000 minutes – Receive a $15 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
Read 1,500 minutes – Receive a ticket for the Grand Prize Raffle for a Magic Library Bookshelf Nook and a $50 Gift Card to Barnes & Noble.
Read more and earn another ticket for every 500 minutes you read.
To participate you need to create an account on the Beanstack tracker app or on the web at grotonpubliclibrary.beanstack.org. Create an account using your email and then register for the “Read Like a Machine” Winter Reading Challenge. READ ANYTHING! Log the minutes you read to earn badges and prizes.
Prizes and tickets must be redeemed in person at the mid-level Circulation desk on the 2nd floor of the Groton Public Library. The drawing for the Grand Prize will take place on March 5, 2025, and other prizes will be available until April 1, 2025. All prizes are provided by the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust.
