“Where We Come From” Teen Winter Reading Challenge
Grades 6-12
January 1 - February 29, 2024
Teens in Grades 6-12 may READ ANYTHING and log the minutes they read from January 1 to February 29 on the Beanstack App to earn badges and prizes!
Read 360 minutes – Receive a $5 Dunkin' Donuts Gift Card
Read 720 minutes – Receive a free book
Read 1,000 minutes – Receive a $15 Barnes & Noble Gift Card
Read 1,500 minutes – Receive a ticket for our Grand Prize Cozy Reading Basket
Read more and earn another ticket for every 500 minutes you read.
There is also an extra prize for completing the Beanstack Bingo – a pair of movie passes to O’Neil Cinemas!
To participate you need to create an account on the Beanstack tracker app or on the web at grotonpubliclibrary.beanstack.org. Create an account using your email and then register for the “Where We Come From” Winter Reading Challenge. READ ANYTHING! Log the minutes you read and earn badges and prizes.
Prizes and tickets must be redeemed in person at the mid-level Circulation desk on the 2nd floor of the Groton Public Library. The drawing for the Grand Prize Cozy Reading Basket will take place on March 5, 2024, and all other prizes will be available until April 1, 2024. All prizes are provided by the Groton Public Library Endowment Trust.
