Summer Reading Starts June 22 June 02, 2010
All young adults entering grades 6-12 are welcome to join our summer reading program. Sign up starts June 22. All you need is a GPL library card and password, so if you don't already have one, come in to the mid level to pick one up. Flyers listing all the rewards and events are available in the YA area too. Click on Summer Reading or the image to begin.
Llama Lounge this Week April 10, 2010
Join us for games, crafts and snacks, or if you want to use the laptops, this Thursday April 15th from 11:30-3:00 PM. For young adults in grades 5-8.
Performance Poetry March 13, 2010
Find out what Poetry Slam is all about on Tuesday March 16, 7:00-8:00 PM. Alex Charalambides, Director of the Worcester Youth Poetry Slam will be here to perform some poems, talk about the art of Poetry Slam and help any poets who would like to get some feedback. Alex will be back on April 6th with the Worcestor Youth Poetry Slam to demonstrate a Poetry Slam and all local poets are invited to participate.
Winter Break Week February 16, 2010
Come on in and pick up some books, movies and games, and come to the showing of "9" on Thursday at 7:00 PM. Pizza will be served so please sign up on the events list at the right so I can be sure to order enough pizza.
On Friday the Wii game and laptops will be set up in Sibley from 1-3 PM for fun and games.
