Groton Public Library
2008 Summer Reading Program for
Ages 18 months – 5 years
To participate:
Register in the GPL Children's Room beginning June 17.
Fill out a log sheet and file it. This sheet will stay at the library. You can fill in the titles of the books you've read when you visit the library.
Read, read, read! Books should be checked out, read,
and recorded between June 17 and August 15.
Registration continues throughout the program.
Two books may be from home, but the rest must be checked out from the library.
You do not have to be a Groton resident to join in the fun!
Prize Redemption:
For every 5 books you read, up to 50, choose a prize and fill out a raffle ticket to win a different weekly raffle prize. Raffle prizes will be picked every Friday starting June 27. You to not have to be present to win. Once you read 25 books, you'll received a special bonus prize along with the usual prize and raffle. After you read 50 books, you will be entered in the Grand Prize drawing, to be held on August 15.

We also have scheduled programs for all ages: musicians, storytellers,
educational programs with live animals, programs based on
popular kids’ books, and craft programs. Pick up a copy of the summer schedule at the library, or
