Homebound Delivery

Are you or someone you know unable to come to the library? Let us bring the library to you! Library staff, with support from the COA Mobile Library Program, will deliver (and return) library materials for you. Requests may be made for all types of materials, including books, audiobooks, magazines, music, DVDs, and more. You can request specific titles or more general areas of interest and we are happy to make suggestions, too. Many books are available in large print format.

To take advantage of our free homebound service, you must be a Groton resident who is temporarily or permanently confined to your home because of illness, disability, or advanced age.

How to use the service

Simply call or email the Groton Public Library to request this service and learn more about it. We will set up a schedule, find out what subjects interest you, and what format is best suited to your needs (books, audio, large print, etc.). If you don't have a library card, we will set you up with an account.
